I am an elementary school teacher (B.A., B.Ed.) turned dog trainer.  I have the privilege of spending my days working with clients and their canine companions and hanging out with my five wonderful dogs:  Piper, Raven, Tuig, Elie and Journey.   My greatest pleasure is being in the company of dogs.

My early study of clicker training was under the guidance of world-reknowned animal trainers, Bob Bailey and Dr. Marian Breland-Bailey (since deceased) in Halifax, Nova Scotia and their home city, Hot Springs, Arkansas.   My professional canine training experience now spans more than 15 years.

In addition to attending annual professional conferences, in recent years I have attended training seminars on the following topics:

I am most proud of being chosen Grand Prize Winner in both the 2011 and 2013 Canis Film Festival with my beagles, Piper (2011) and Tuig (2013).
